The Indian Biogas Association (IBA) and the Hydrogen Association of India (HAI) have joined forces to propel bio-based energy solutions, with a keen focus on advancing green and blue hydrogen technologies. This strategic partnership, aimed at fostering the production of sustainable energy within the nation, marks a significant milestone in India’s journey towards environmental sustainability.

Gaurav Kedia, Chairman of the Indian Biogas Association, revealed in an interview with PTI that the collaboration between IBA and HAI is formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This MoU outlines a shared commitment to promoting the production of green energy within India, aligning with the country’s ambitious renewable energy targets.

Echoing Kedia’s sentiments, RK Malhotra, President of the Hydrogen Association of India, emphasized the crucial role of policy advocacy in nurturing the bio-hydrogen and biogas ecosystem. By leveraging governmental initiatives and advocating for supportive policies, this collaborative approach seeks to empower the industry and drive progress towards India’s green energy objectives.
